asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they plan to change the current arrangements for University Air Squadron activities; and, if so, what changes are envisaged.

A review of University Air Squadrons (UAS) was conducted to look at the way in which essential light aircraft flying, including elementary flying training, air experience flying and flying for undergraduates, is delivered. An announcement is expected shortly and I will write to advise the noble Lord of the outcome.
