To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many incidents of domestic violence were reported in the London borough of Haringey in each year since 1995; how many fatalities were recorded as a result of these incidents; and if he will make a statement.

From the information collected centrally on recorded crime and court proceedings, it is not possible to identify cases of domestic violence. Such offences are not specifically defined by statute and details of the individual circumstances of offences do not feature in either data series.

surely it is about time that these figures were logged, how many victims back down at the last minute and so the perpertrator beats us yet again....bad enough when its at home but again in chambers is too much...
