To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will make a statement on the outcome of the inter-ministerial meeting on human trafficking which took place in February; and when he expects the next meeting to take place.
At the inter-ministerial meeting on trafficking in February Ministers considered a wide range of issues. These included the legislative framework on trafficking; support for victims, including the scope of the evaluation of the POPPY Scheme; and plans for the UK presidency of the EU. Ministers agreed that trafficking should be a priority for the UK presidency of the EU, and at the next meeting, which is arranged for the
