To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs pursuant to the answer of 13 June 2005, Official Report, column 136W, on Hamas, what discussions his Department held with (a) the Conflicts Forum and (b) members of the Conflicts Forum between the death of Yasser Arafat and 1 March.

Secretary of State was originally the title given to the two officials who conducted the Royal Correspondence under Elizabeth I. Now it is the title held by some of the more important Government Ministers, for example the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs.
