To ask the Secretary of State for Health what representations he has received from the National Institute for Clinical Excellence about the provision of (a) Reminyl, (b) Aricept, (c) Exelon and (d) Ebixa treatments by the NHS.

Ministers have not received any representations from the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) about these drugs. The Department has, along with other stakeholders, commented on NICE'S recent draft technology appraisal of these drugs. The Department's response was published on 22 March and is available on the Department website (www.dh.gov.uk) and in the Library.
