To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Skills how much funding her Department has provided to the Fischer Family Trust in each of the last five years.

The Department does not fund the Fischer Family Trust, but does contract with them for specific pieces of work. Financial records in the Department show that the following amounts have been paid to the Trust over the last five years:

Secretary of State was originally the title given to the two officials who conducted the Royal Correspondence under Elizabeth I. Now it is the title held by some of the more important Government Ministers, for example the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs.
