To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Skills how many and what percentage of 11-year-old pupils in London reached Level 4 in (a) mathematics and (b) English in each of the last seven years, broken down by local education authority.

Secretary of State

Secretary of State was originally the title given to the two officials who conducted the Royal Correspondence under Elizabeth I. Now it is the title held by some of the more important Government Ministers, for example the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs.
