Future levels of Crown Estate expenditure are a matter for the Crown Estate Commissioners. I am however informed by the Chief Executive that the Crown Estate has allocated around £800,000 for the Marine Stewardship Fund this year (2004–05), which does not include £300,000 per annum earmarked for this year and next to support salmon farming in Scotland.
