To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what her latest estimate is of the cost of the investigation by the Office of Fair Trading into British horseracing.
This is a matter for the Office of Fair Trading, which is the authority responsible for the enforcement of competition and consumer protection legislation in the UK, and I have asked its Chairman to respond to the hon. Member.
