The Health and Safety Executive is responsible for enforcement of health and safety legislation in Great Britain. It has received approximately 430 representations from sporting groups and others involved in outdoor pursuits with regard to health and safety issues within the last six months. This includes meetings, letters to Ministers and officials in HSE, and also approximately 350 responses to the Health and Safety Commission's consultation document on proposals for work at height regulations.
