To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions how much was spent by his Department on the New Deal for Disabled People in (a) 2002 and (b) 2003.
Expenditure on New Deal for Disabled People for 2001–02 was £10 million; for 2002–03, the estimated expenditure was £27 million.
