To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will list (a) recommendations made by the Firearms Consultative Committee and (b) actions taken by his Department in response to its recommendations.

The Firearms Consultative Committee has produced a large number of recommendations since its inception and these are summarised in each of their annual reports, copies of which are in the Library. Many of their recommendations were dependent on changes in legislation and will be considered in the context of the forthcoming review.
