To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what the cost to his Department was of convening meetings of the Firearms Consultative Committee since its inception.

A total of £14,534 has been spent on running the Firearms Consultative Committee since March 2000. Information on the cost of meetings before that date is not available from current records.
