To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland, who owns the Scotland Office headquarters at Dover House in Whitehall, what her latest estimate is of the total value of this building; and what her estimate is of its annual rental cost.

Dover House is owned by the Crown Estate and leased to the Scotland Office. The value of the building is a matter for the Crown Estate. The rental cost in 2001–02 was £10,500.
