To ask the hon. Member for Middlesbrough, representing the Church Commissioners, if he will increase stipends to take account of the additional costs to the clergy of going on-line.

Any additional costs relating to the use of computer and e-mail equipment in the course of clergy duties should be reimbursed through expenses.
