To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what impact the introduction of the climate change levy has had on the net tax paid by (a) manufacturing industry and (b) the service sector.
The climate change levy package, including the reduction in employer NICs and support for energy efficiency investments, is expected to be broadly revenue neutral to manufacturing industry and to the service sector.
