To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, Local Government and the Regions what responsibility (a) Railtrack and (b) Virgin Rail have for the provision of disabled access at Lockerbie railway station.
Lockerbie station is owned by Railtrack and leased to ScotRrail who are the "Stations Facilities Owner" with responsibility for managing the station on a day to day basis. ScotRail would be responsible for overseeing the provision of enhanced facilities at the station.
