To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what the (a) establishment and (b) actual strength was of the Territorial Army on 1 July.

As at 1 July, the actual strength of the Territorial Army (less non-regular permanent staff) was 40,409, some 800 below the agreed establishment of 41,204.
