Mrs. Renée Short asked the Secretary of State for Social Services, pursuant to his reply to the hon. Member for Wolverhampton, North-East on 16 July, if he is yet able to make a further statement on the Pharmacists Review Panel and the references that he is putting to it.

Dr. Vaughan: The membership of the Pharmacists Review Panel is now complete and consists of Mr. Edward Gibbons, solicitor, as chairman, with, as members, Mr. G. Carter, an accountant, Miss P. L. Cook, an economist, 102 Mr. J. G. Grindle, representing retail trade experience and Professor G. F. Thomason, an expert in industrial relations. The panel will shortly be asked to consider references on the subjects of profit and property costs in relation to pharmacies in contract with the National Health Service.
