One in four children in Scotland lives in poverty, but is not the real shocker that the figure is the lowest of the those for the four UK nations? Child poverty was down at 21%, but has now risen, not because of the financial crash but, as Ian Murray said, because of changes in welfare. The rise started in 2012, and that was owing to policies made here in Westminster.
