We have had an excellent discussion and this has been a very worthwhile debate. My right hon. Friend Sir Greg Knight made some great interventions; my hon. Friend Derek Thomas made a very passionate case for his part of Cornwall; Drew Hendry made some interesting and valid points, although I do not agree completely with some of the things he said; and Daniel Zeichner also made some very valid and interesting points.

I thank the Minister for listening. Obviously, we will not be here in Parliament for much longer, but it would be nice to come back and re-engage in this debate in a few weeks or months. I thank him for listening to the debate and I hope that he will consider this matter in the future if he is back in his position and I am back in mine.

Question put and agreed to.

Resolved,

That this House
has considered the use of regional flags on driving licences and number plates.

Sitting adjourned.
