NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde have confirmed that discussions were held with Glasgow City Council’s Social Work Department in 2007 about changes in the bed configuration at Lightburn Hospital at that time. The NHS board has been clear that any future bed re-modelling would be informed by the full engagement of local stakeholders, and taken forward through the joint rehabilitation structure with their social work partners.
