To ask the Scottish Executive what representations the Cabinet Secretary for Health and Wellbeing made in the budget negotiations concerning the funding of Glasgow City Council.

The overall funding package for local government resulted from the 2007 Spending Review negotiations between the Scottish Government and COSLA. The Scottish Government operates on the basis of collective responsibility. This means that all decisions reached by ministers, individually or collectively, are agreed and supported by all members of the government.
