The Scottish Government has not made representations to the Home Secretary on the issue of low skilled workers. In respect of skilled workers on the shortage occupation list, the First Minister wrote to the Home Secretary who has responsibility for the UK Immigration System, on 20 October about the minimum salary level of £8.10 for skilled chefs.
