Question S2W-32596
To ask the Scottish Executive how it will monitor the effect of reduced ferry fares for island residents on businesses located on the islands.
Tavish Scott
Liberal Democrat
The Scottish Executive will begin later this year, a review of fares structures as part of a broader review of the affordability of public transport. The review will aim to identify scope for rationalising a complex structure and aligning fares more closely with the Executive’s policy aims. These include supporting island economies and the businesses which contribute to them.
