To ask the Scottish Executive what representations it has made to the UK Government to ensure that every public and private employer implements employment policies for carers.

Following the publication of the Care 21 report: The Future of Unpaid Care in Scotland in April 2006, I wrote to UK ministers to draw to their attention the report’s recommendations on the reserved issue of employment rights.
