The Executive, Highlands and Islands Enterprise and Argyll and Bute Council are currently examining options for extending air services in Argyll and Bute as part of the current review of aviation policy underpinning the white paper The Future Development of Air Transport in the UK . This includes consideration of the future role of Connel airfield near Oban.
