In the last six months, six camera sites in Scotland have been decommissioned for a period of time following malicious damage. Five of these have already been reinstated, and the sixth is awaiting repair.

Anyone found interfering with a safety camera can expect to be arrested, charged and reported to the procurator fiscal’s office.
