To ask the Scottish Executive how many graduate traineeships or sandwich year places, in fields where vocational experience is required for professional recognition by an institute or other body, it provides annually.

The Scottish Executive does not offer a fixed number of vocational placements for students. Numbers vary depending on opportunities available each year. Sixty-one places have been provided so far this year.
