To ask the Scottish Executive how it intends to encourage and support NHS Trusts and health boards in tackling any health inequalities experienced by the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities.

Addressing health inequalities lies at the heart of Our National Health: A plan for action, a plan for change and is an important part of our work for social justice. Health boards are expected to use their knowledge of the health needs of their populations to develop services designed to meet those needs and to address any inequalities in access to those services.
