To ask the Scottish Executive how many claims for compensation for damage to vehicles and injuries to passengers and pedestrians caused by dangerous and/or poorly maintained trunk roads and motorways there have been in each of the last four years and what was the total value of such claims.
The number and value of claims for compensation for damages to vehicles and injuries to passengers and pedestrians on trunk roads and motorways in each of the last four years is as follows:
