To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answer to question S1W-972 by Mr Jim Wallace on 17 September 1999, what total cost was incurred by Central Scotland Police in respect of the disciplinary hearing of Inspector John Bunyan.

I understand that Central Scotland Police met costs for legal fees and expert witnesses for the hearing of a little over £100,000.
