To ask the Scottish Executive when it intends to publish the guidelines on fertility treatment in Scotland as commissioned from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

The Expert Advisory Group on Infertility Services in Scotland was asked by the Scottish Programme for Clinical Effectiveness in Reproductive Health to undertake a review of the clinical management of infertility services with a particular focus on establishing a model service specification for infertility care in Scotland. It has drawn on the guidelines published by the Royal College of Gynaecologists and Obstetricians. The Expert Advisory Group has reported to the Chief Medical Officer in Scotland and the Clinical Resources and Audit Group. The report is currently being considered.
