(Translated) What action is the Welsh Government taking to improve road safety in Carmarthen West and South Pembrokeshire?

The principal objective of our 20 mph policy is to save lives and reduce casualties on our roads. We are funding local authorities to deliver cycle training, child pedestrian training and motorcycle training. Our national transport delivery plan includes improvements to the A40 and we are reviewing safety on the A477.

We are updating our guidance on speed limits on roads affecting communities to be consistent with the clarified guidance on 20 mph. We anticipate this work will be completed next spring and guidance for speed limits on rural roads between communities will follow. Following the release of the new guidance, Welsh Government will then review the speed limits across our trunk road network and make any changes in a consistent way.

(Translated) What steps is the Welsh Government taking to ensure that public transport in Cardiff is able to cope with large music events?

The investments we have made to increase capacity on the railway helps music-goers attend events in Cardiff. Transport for Wales have robust plans for the summer concerts at the Principality Stadium and have worked closely with the local authority, Network Rail and other train operators to ensure these meet passenger demand.
