Home Department: Illegal Cross-channel Movements: Discussions with French Counterpart (14 Nov 2022)

Suella Braverman: The Prime Minister and I are committed to reducing dangerous illegal migration into the UK, which is why I was in Paris today with my French counterpart, Gérald Darmanin, to agree a new joint strategy and operational plan, which will drive forward our next phase of co-operation and make this route unviable eventually.

Home Department: Topical Questions (14 Nov 2022)

Suella Braverman: The Afghan citizens resettlement scheme, which commenced on 6 January 2022, will see up to 20,000 at-risk people resettled to the United Kingdom. If my hon. Friend sends me the details, I will ask the relevant teams to look at that case.

Suella Braverman: My hon. Friend makes a good point. Prevent: Independent Review ( 8 Feb 2023)

Suella Braverman: For Prevent to operate effectively within local communities, funding is essential. Soft Power - Question ( 9 Feb 2023)

Suella Braverman: I have written to Mr Cox providing an update on the response to concerns raised by him and the Hon. Member following the tragic death of his daughter Lorraine. Suella Braverman: A lot of passion and fury and fire—I only wish the Scottish Government would bring so much passion to their approach to accommodating asylum seekers, when Scotland currently takes one of the lowest numbers of asylum seekers in our United Kingdom.
