Dawn Butler: I have been asked to reply. Civil servants, including senior civil servants, have the choice of a pension provided under the rules of the Principal Civil Service Pension Scheme or an employer contribution to a stakeholder pension. The general principle is that bonus payments are not normally pensionable.
