Amber Rudd: I wonder whether other hon. Members receive complaints about the education maintenance allowance, as I do. I, too, represent a constituency where there are people on very low incomes, but I get a lot of complaints that the allowance is badly applied and often abused.

Amber Rudd: I am interested to hear that London is affected. We will see the consequences, but at present I am receiving different answers and people are reaching different conclusions. It is not entirely clear how the private sector will respond, but one thing is entirely clear: we cannot continue with the cost as it is now.
Amber Rudd: What steps his Department is taking to return empty homes to productive use.

Amber Rudd: To ask the Secretary of State for Education what assessment he has made of the effectiveness of RAISEonline as an indicator of deprivation; and whether he plans to adopt this mechanism to allocate funds through the pupil premium.
Amber Rudd: To ask the Secretary of State for Education what indicators of deprivation he is considering for use as the mechanism for allocating funds through the pupil premium.

Amber Rudd: On a day when employment is at the top of people's minds, could I ask the Prime Minister to join me in congratulating the Saga Group on its wise decision to move into Hastings, which has very high public sector employment, with up to 800 new jobs for the town?
Amber Rudd: To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions what estimate he has made of the (a) number and (b) proportion of people that claimed incapacity benefit in (i) Hastings, (ii) Hastings and Rye constituency, (iii) East Sussex and (iv) England in the latest period for which figures are available.
Amber Rudd: To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for what reasons unused cod quota held by produce organisations is not reallocated to the under 10-metre fleet in area V11D.
Amber Rudd: To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office what proportion of the working age population of (a) Hastings and Rye constituency, (b) Hastings borough council area, (c) East Sussex, (d) the South East and (e) the UK are (i) employed in the public sector, (ii) employed in the private sector and (iii) unemployed.
Amber Rudd: To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs if she will assess the merits of reallocating cod quotas in Area VIId in the light of the annual under-utilisation by the over 10 metre sector.
