James Heappey: ..., the Royal Navy maintains a number of high readiness forces in UK waters that could be called upon to assist if requested. HMS CLYDE was operated by the Ministry of Defence (MOD) under lease from BAE Systems. This arrangement ended at the end of March 2020, and the ship was returned to the company. The MOD has no plans for a further role for HMS CLYDE.
