Vicky Ford: Since the start of the conflict in northern Ethiopia in November 2020, the UK has spent over £18 million on nutrition support for mothers and children in the Afar, Tigray and Amhara regions. This has included specialised treatment for severe acute malnutrition, supplementary feeding for moderate acute malnutrition, and vitamin supplementation.
Vicky Ford: Our Ambassador to Havana regularly engages with Cuban authorities on how the UK and Cuba can work together to support each other. We have not received a request for assistance from the Cuban Government for aid.
Vicky Ford: The UK is a major humanitarian donor to the East Africa region. In financial year 2022/2023 (ending 31 March 2023) we will provide at least £156 million to address humanitarian requirements across East Africa.
Vicky Ford: We remain committed to transparency and will provide updates to spending plans in due course.
Vicky Ford: I met with both the Secretariat and members of the Disasters Emergency Committee on 22 July and 22 June respectively to discuss the crisis in East Africa. We will continue to have further discussions with NGOs on wider humanitarian requirements in East Africa and will build upon the productive and regular engagement that has been undertaken thus far.

Vicky Ford: The Government remains committed to transparency and will provide updates to Parliament on spending plans in due course.
Vicky Ford: We are supporting Ms Bowman through our consular channels. Officials at the British Embassy in Yangon have been in contact with the local authorities to request urgent consular access in order to check on her welfare. We are monitoring Ms Bowman's situation closely and will continue to support her, and her family, until the case is resolved.
Vicky Ford: A Women and Girls Strategy would build on the May 2022 International Development Strategy, which framed our work on women and girls through the 3Es (Educating girls, Empowering women and girls, and Ending violence against women and girls). It included a strong commitment to drive progress on universal and comprehensive sexual and reproductive health and rights.
Vicky Ford: The UK does not have formal information-sharing agreements with the US and EU but holds regular discussions with these and other partners to cooperate and coordinate on sanctions to ensure their maximum impact. This includes sharing evidence with partners to support joint designations where possible.
Vicky Ford: The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office has paused payments in line with HM Treasury's suspension, but this has not reduced existing programming. We have continued to meet our contractual arrangements for activity which has taken place.
