Civil servants, including senior civil servants, have the choice of a pension provided under the rules of the Principal Civil Service Pension Scheme or an employer contribution to a stakeholder pension. The general principle is that bonus payments are not normally pensionable.

Dawn Butler: No records of the Political Honours Scrutiny Committee have been destroyed although criteria for selecting those for preservation at the National Archives (TNA) are presently being considered. Any records over 30 years old that are not selected for transfer to TNA will be destroyed. Records of the Political Honours Scrutiny Committee are held by the Cabinet Office.

In September 2009 the Government published "Greening Government ICT-Efficient, Sustainable, Responsible" a one-year-on progress report which assesses the Government's Green ICT strategy.
