Hi, I am a person adversely effected by new changes to HSMP extension rules announced by Liam Byrne on 7th of November. I have applied for my extension on 7th of November and it reached WorkPermit UK office on 8th. They said my application will come under new rules.

1. I can not accept it, because by the time i have applied i did not even know these changes.
2. The new changes asking applicants to show 8 months experience, I am again not accpting this. Because I was outside the UK when I am given Entry Clearance and it took me 3 months to come to the UK and 3 months to find a 'SKILLED JOB' and to join. it is impossible for persons like me who
   have come outside the UK and working in 'SKILLED JOBS' to show 8 months experience. I know they are asking to change to Work Permit, but changing status to Work Permit is a heavy pain both for us and for employers.
3. There are people like me who qualify as pro-rata basis and working for 'SKILLED JOBS'.
4. Eventhough we change our status to Work Permit, we will again apply for HSMP status when we gain 75 points which will be very very very very sooner.
5. I want you to think about persons like me to relieve us from pains to change status from HSMP to Work Permit and again from Work Permit to HSMP.
6. Pleae give us Further Leave to Remain until the period we can show 8 months experience, this amendment will solve so many persons problem and helps contributing to UK economy instead of migrating to other countries.
7. Please think about people working in the 'SKILLED JOBS'. And please also think about how far these changes are right which are 'RETROSPECTIVE'.
8. WE ARE STARTED LIVING HERE AS IF UK IS OUR MAIN COUNTRY AS WE HAVE PROMISED, WE CAN NOT GO ANY WHERE ALL OF A SUDDEN. PLSEAE REVISE THE HOME OFFICE RULES AND GIVE US SOME TIME TO GO BACK IF
   THEY DONT WANT TO AMEND THE RULES. WE ARE SLEEPING SAFE AND SECURE, AND NEW RETROSPECTIVE IMMIGRATION RULES ARE LIVE NIGHT MARES. PLEAE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE UNDERSTAND OUR MENTAL AGONY.
