6. Overseas visits

  • 26-29 January 2003, during a four-day visit to Pakistan and Kashmir under the auspices of the Liberal Democrat Friends of Kashmir, the Pakistan Army and Airforce supplied car and helicopter transport from Islamabad to Chotaki, Kashmir. My accommodation and meals were provided by the Pakistan Government. (My airfare was paid for by the Parliamentary Office of the Liberal Democrats.) (Registered 3 February 2003)

  • Councillor in Stockport MBC.
  • I receive occasional fees from MORI and BPRI for opinion surveys. The fees are paid directly to the Stockport Cerebral Palsy Society.
  • Occasional fees from speaking and other engagements which are paid directly to Stockport Cerebral Palsy Society.
  • Councillor for Stockport MBC until May 2002.

4. Sponsorship or financial or material support

  • A contribution of more than 25% of my election expenses at the 2001 General Election was made by my brother, Mr Peter Yeldon, who also makes occasional donations to my constituency party associated with my position as candidate and Member of Parliament. (Registered 7 September 2001)

  • Unpaid executive director of Stockport Cerebral Palsy Society.
  • Member of National Association of Schoolteachers/Union of Women Teachers.
