  • 31 January-2 February 2001, to Seville, Spain, with the British-Spanish All-Party Parliamentary Group, for meeting with Spanish colleagues from the Congress of Deputies. Fares paid from Group funds supplied by declared sponsors, British Gas PLC and Norwich Union PLC, and expenses in Spain paid for by Spanish Parliament. (Registered 30 July 1999)
  • 14-19 November 1999, to Iran with the British-Iranian All-Party Parliamentary Group, at the invitation of the Iranian Parliament and Government for the improvement of bilateral parliamentary relations. Travel between London and Tehran sponsored and paid for by British Airways. Accommodation in Tehran provided without charge as guests of the British Ambassador. One day and one night visit to Shiraz made as guests of the Iranian Parliament and the Governorship of Fars Province. (Registered 24 November 1999)
