  • 29 June 2004, in my capacity as tennis adviser to the Minister for Sport I attended the Wimbledon Championships as a guest of the All England Lawn Tennis Club. (Registered 30 June 2004)
 

6. Overseas visits

  • 11-14 June 2004, to Portugal, as a member of the UK parliamentary football team, to play the Portuguese Parliament in a charity football match and to attend the opening of Euro 2004. I paid for my own tickets to Euro 2004; other parts of the visit were paid for by McDonalds, who sponsored the trip. (Registered 24 June 2004)

No fee received. I also had meetings with the American Corn Growers Association and the lawyers involved in the law suit against Monsanto relating to GMO liabilities and breach of anti-trust legislation.
