6. Overseas visits

  • 28-31 May 2000, to Kosovo to study situation for returned refugees; organised by the British Refugee Council with travel and accommodation paid for by them. (Registered 6 July 2000)
  • 13-17 July 2000, to Turkey to see the site of the proposed Ilisu Dam and to consult with local people and the Turkish authorities about the project. The visit was arranged and paid for by the Ilisu Dam Campaign in London with further hospitality from political groups in Turkey. (Registered 27 July 2000)
