2. Remunerated employment, office, profession etc

  • Various frequent and infrequent Parliamentary surveys. Any money involved is paid directly to nominated charities or organisations.
 

6. Overseas visits

  • 31 January-2 February 2001, to Seville, Spain, with the British-Spanish All-Party Parliamentary Group, for meeting with Spanish colleagues from the Congress of Deputies. Travel paid out of Group funds provided by declared sponsors, British Gas plc and Norwich Union plc. All other expenses met by our hosts, the Spanish Congress of Deputies. (Registered 20 February 2001)

  • Trustee of the NSPCC (unpaid).
  • Trustee of SAFE (children's charity) (unpaid).

  • 7-9 July 1999, to Barcelona with All-Party British-Spanish Parliamentary Group for working meeting with Spanish counterparts. Fares paid from Group funds supplied by declared sponsors, British Gas PLC and Norwich Union PLC, and expenses in Spain paid for by Spanish Parliament. (Registered 9 August 1999)
