  • 9-18 May 2002, to China, as a member of a delegation from the All-Party China Group. Cost of hotels, hospitality and transport in China were met by the Chinese Government and Air China upgraded an economy fare to Business Class. (Registered 16 July 2002)
  • 2-7 June 2002, to Norway, as a member of the British-Norwegian All-Party Group, sponsored by the Norwegian Government and Storting, and including an off-shore visit to Oseberg platform courtesy of Norsk Hydro. (Registered 16 July 2002)
  • 24-29 September 2002, to Poland, to visit Polish parliamentarians in Warsaw. Hospitality, hotel and internal travel paid for by Adam Mickiewicz Institute. (Registered 30 September 2002)
