The hon. Gentleman is right to raise the general cross-party consensus on the philosophy of auto-enrolment, but does he accept that, during 13 years, the previous Government unfortunately failed to produce auto-enrolment? It has taken this Government, in a much shorter time, to implement the legislation and ensure that large numbers of people all over the country are saving for the first time. Does he accept that it is not good enough just endlessly to talk about things? We need action.
