I had forgotten about that particular provision in the Fixed-term Parliaments Act. I am sure the hon. Member for Eltham will have been delighted to hear that news, because he may well choose to petition the Prime Minister to extend this Parliament in order to try and further consider the Bill—but that is a matter for the hon. Gentleman.
Let me return to the guidance note, because I need to explain why I have or have not followed it. It states:
