My hon. Friend is setting out the particular issues relating to women and pensions very clearly, and the 700,000 Group are part of the debate. Does she agree that there is a perception problem for the Government? Auto-enrolment underpins the movement towards a flat-rate state pension system. Increasing the threshold for auto-enrolment every year in line with the personal allowance has taken up to 1 million women out of automatic enrolment in a pension scheme. The danger for the Government is that the perception continues that women do not get a fair deal from the pension system relative to men.
